To give Christmas biscuits a fitting home, Nika Zupanc has designed abiscuit jar whose shape is reminiscent of a snow-covered Christmas tree.This object is visibly influenced by Zupanc’s characteristic designlanguage, which interprets time-honoured shapes and stylistic featuresin a modern, contemporary way. The designer has opted for traditionalChristmas colours: white for the background; red for the decoration on
the body; and gold for the small star, which acts as the handle on thelid, and for the thin trim that highlights the bottom and the pointwhere the two parts of the biscuit jar meet. An evocative object, amodern little fairytale that captures the imagination and brings joywith its delicate lines and vibrant colours.
