The centrepiece 'Joy n.1' has been designed by Claudia Raimondo. Theshape and decoration of the steel sheet is created through a so phisticated and contemporary moulding technique. The faces of the object create its form: large and open with undefined edges andwith a fascinating play of reflections that are reminiscent of objectshandmade in precious metals. The texture evokes the backgrounds of thedigital world and reinterprets steel by playing on the elusiveness ofthe design, which makes the object look like something smooth andnatural even if it crystallised into a solid matter.
