Consisting of two sophisticated, minimalist parts - a stainless steelbody and a transparent lid - the Toru juicer demonstrates Nendo’sability to transform abstract concepts into tangible shapes. InJapanese, "toru" means "through", and with this juicer, a black,tube-like element seems to pierce the lid, become its handles, andprotrude from the steel body to act as a spout. This object is c omplicated to produce because the linear design requires a particularly challenging manufacturing process.
