- For non-ferric metals, use corundum too, however, at certain circumstances you can obtain better results with silicon carbide;
- Coarse grains cut faster on soft and ductile materials;
- The fine ones are most suitable for hard materials and offer a better cutting finishing;
- Hard disc get larger performance on soft materials, profiles, small cutting sections and above all with powerful machines;
- Soft discs get a low performance, but their cut is faster, do not heat material (better finishing), cut hard materials and need lower power from machine.
